Today was the first day of Easter Break. (I guess here in Peru that would be "fall break.") We decided to take some time off as a family and headed down to Lima's port, Callao. We could include dozens of pictures of Callao and the area known as "La Punta." It's one of our favorite parts of Lima. But, since this is the girls' blog we'll stick to mostly pictures of our daughters.
We were able to enjoy a boat trip, a beautiful park, and walking along the rocky beach. The girls were happy to see an American aircraft carrier, lots of other boats, crabs, pelicans and some fish. It was a great day as a family.
