Elizabeth and Olivia are slowly but surely getting back to a normal life. As normal as it can be for two kids that are carried all over the western hemisphere!
Elizabeth seems 100 percent pleased to be back "at home" in Peru. She immediately began to dig through old toys and unpack her personal favorites. She has enjoyed running around the house and is ready to spend all of her time at the nearby park. She has managed to remember some of her Spanish, and is more eager than ever to learn the language.
Adjusting to Peru has been a little more difficult for Olivia. She is trying to learn to crawl and move around again on the slick hardwood floors. She gets frustrated with all the changes, and is less than thrilled with the milk here. She is pretty fussy and seems a little disgusted about her new home. We feel confident that she will be back to her old ways real soon. She is still smiling at everyone and is always a real joy.
