...you take your daughter to a car race at Bowman Gray Stadium! Tonight we had the priviledge of taking Elizabeth to her first car race. (Actually, the first she could remember-she went at 6 months!) Elizabeth loved every minute of the racing action.
It was funny to hear Elizabeth's comments: "Daddy, they don't really drive like mommy does, they really don't drive like you...We'll you do drive like that in Peru don't you?!?"
She thought the racing was so interesting and never bored as we expected. However the evening ended with a demolition derby. She was scared to death. "Why would they want to hurt each other?" She cried. When we explained that they were all really like friends and it was for fun, she commented: "That doesn't sound like fun I want to have with my friends..."
It was an exciting night for daddy: It's nice to know there is another generation of redneck in the family!
