Now is it almost time?

Elizabeth constantly asks when we will be returning to Peru. We are all anxiously awaiting our return date. Debbie realized that soon after we get back we will be having a big milestone day. On August 14, Olivia will turn one, and Elizabeth will start her first day of school. That will certainly be a memorable day, although a bit sad to see our little one's that aren't so little anymore!

Our recent travels have taken us to many interesting destinations. We've enjoyed eastern NC, coastal Virginia, and the mountains of the Old Dominion state. We've enjoyed showing the girls all kinds of historic sites and places of interest. I don't imagine they will remember much, but at least we can show them the pictures.

Olivia is saying more and more each day. She still perfers saying "dadda" over other sounds. (Daddy isn't complaining of course!) She made PawPaw extra happy when she said, "Bye Bye Paw Paw!" (Of course, he had only been repeating it to her for about 5 days!) She is about to crawl. Olivia manages to move backward very well, but can't seem to get her transmission out of reverse into drive. She can make it across a large room in a matter of seconds, when she rolls.
