It was with mixed emotions that we watched Elizabeth start preschool today. It is so nice to see her growing and learning. Yet, sad to see our little baby growing up!
She has been so excited about starting school. She ran into our bedroom bright and early the first day of school and asked if we were ready to get dressed and go to school. When we arrived she ran right in, and before we could say goodbye she was surrounded by a group of kids, holding hands with another little girl.
When we went back to pick her up three hours later she couldn't stop talking about all the neat things she had been doing. It will be exciting to see her continue to grow and prepare for starting kindergarden next year back in Peru.
In other "PoeKids News": Looks like next Tuesday we will find out the birthday of our second daughter. The doctor says all is going well, and he can schedule the date of the delivery at the next office visit.
