Elizabeth continues to adapt well to her new culture here in the US. She is enjoying the many new friends she meets at all the churches along the way. She sometimes gets pretty tired of being in the car, but has learned some new games to help the time past quickly.
Starting next week life will be very exciting for Elizabeth. She is going to begin a pre-school program at a local church. We are pleased that we were able to find a program that is very flexible for our travel schedule. Elizabeth is looking forward to being in "school" for the first time and having more new friends.
We recently asked Elizabeth what her favorite things were in the United States. She responded: "Playing in the water, lots of parks, riding a bike, running around all those trees and seeing the fire truck!'' She then added, "Oh, and lots of marshmallows!" (Although, we can't recall her eating any of those yet!)
Our second child is due on September 7th. It looks she could arrive a little earlier due to a required C-section. The baby seems healthy and we are looking forward to her soon arrival!
